Lexington 250th Anniversary July 4th Parade
Lexington’s Fourth of July Parade celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the founding of Lexington. SAR and DAR will march in the parade. SAR / DAR Participants will muster at the parking lot at Short St and Elm Tree Lane. The Parade steps off at noon and will move down Main Street from Midland to Mill Street.

245th Anniversary of Ruddles Station Massacre
Please join the Lafayette Chapter and the KYSSAR Eastern Brigade Color Guard as we honor the memory of the hundreds of Patriots, Pioneers, and family members that were massacred at Ruddle’s Station in June of 1780.
At 10:00 am the SAR Color Guard will post the Colors and fire a Flintlock salute. At 11:00 am we will move to the Lair Family Crypt to Sound Taps and perform Mourn on Arms in memory of some of the slaughtered that had their remains moved to this crypt in the cliff overlooking the Licking River.
